Shooters from across Kent and Sussex put the Merkel Helix Speedster to the test on an action-packed charity range day with sporting journalist and pro-hunter Tim Pilbeam. 

Shooting sports journalist Tim Pilbeam hosted a one-off rifle shooting charity event on his range in South East England. Participants were able to demo the Merkel Helix Speedster in exchange for a charitable donation to help Tim to raise money for a childrens' hospital that looked after his grandson, Max, who was born prematurely.

The shooters were able to sharpen up their rifle shooting skills from 50m to 300m on a wide variety of tricky reactive animal targets. These included a running pig and an infamously tricky bolting rabbit.

Lucky participants also walked away with a variety of top-notch sporting kit. Viking Arms are proud to have donated Splatter Shot Targets, Pro-Shot rifle cleaning kits, 3HGR rifle slings and the loan of a Merkel Helix Speedster rifle fitted with a Leupold scope for the event.
