The much-anticipated Precision Rifle Series UK Finale 2023 brought together skilled marksmen, markswomen and enthusiasts from across the UK and Europe for a thrilling weekend of precision shooting. Held on the picturesque ranges of Pro Shoot Firearms, the Savage Arms and Leupold Optics Centre of Excellence, the event was the final competition in a thrilling 2023 series.
Huge congratulations to Leupold sponsored shooter Joe Pask who qualified to secure his spot at the prestigious PRS Finale, set to take place at the Twin Peaks Rifle Club in Kansas, US, in November 2023.
The event also welcomed a distinguished guest from Norway, Sindre Nyland, Andy Simpson and Leupold sponsred Team GB champion Joe Pask adding their expertise to the mix. What caught the eye of many was the remarkable presence of eight competitors utilising the reliable Leupold Mark 5 rifle scopes throughout the weekend. This remarkable statistic accounted for over 20% of all participants in the competition. It's a testament to the trust and confidence shooters place in Leupold Scopes, reaffirming its status as the preferred choice of champions.
As the dust settled on the competition, our very own Leupold-sponsored PRSUK shooter and Team GB champion, Joe Pask, demonstrated exceptional skill and determination. His consistent performance throughout the season secured him an impressive 5th place finish. This accomplishment earned him the privilege of representing the UK at the prestigious PRS Finale, set to take place at the Twin Peaks Rifle Club in Kansas, US, in November 2023.
The captivating moments of the Precision Rifle Series UK Finale 2023 were wonderfully captured by Andrea Charlton (Annie Lou on Facebook and @mrstheryancharlton on Instagram). Her photos beautifully encapsulate the spirit of camaraderie, sportsmanship, and precision that define this remarkable event. Andrea is a talented shooter, and a valuable member of the event. Unfortunately, Andrea encountered an issue with her rifle that prevented her from participating in the competition. However, her sportsmanship and dedication shone through as she graciously took control of a camera, capturing captivating moments between squads and delivering a treasure trove of incredible photos.
Stay tuned as we continue to follow the exciting journey of Joe Pask and the thriving world of the Precision Rifle Series UK!
