The World GunMakers Evening showcases the most prestigious guns in the world for one night only. Whether collector, investor or the demanding hunter, London on the 8th November is the place to be. And there’s no better location than this year’s venue, the Prince Consort Rooms, an impressive vaulted-ceiling former drill hall in The Armoury House, a listed 18th century manor house, home of The Honourable Artillery Company.
On display will be the one-of-a-kind Merkel Snow Witch, an exquisite rifle crafted from the finest materials and worth £26,000, a piece which offers exceptional quality, accuracy, and desirability for the person who accepts no compromise.
Considered to be one of the finest rifle brands in the world, VIP guests will also have the opportunity to see and handle the Nobelesse, Arabesque and K5 Merkel rifles, a traditional German manufacturer known throughout the world for unparalleled quality, craftsmanship, and performance. From Viking Arms, distributors of Merkel in the UK, Head of Sporting Sales, Andy Norris will be at the evening to discuss how these rifles can be customised to meet the needs of an individual hunter. For example, the K5 single-shot rifle can come with a specially developed Monte Carlo or the traditional Bavarian stock, available in different wood grades from Grade 4 to Exhibition grade.
"The Merkel K5 range of rifles stands as a testament to true uniqueness and bespoke craftsmanship. Each K5 rifle is a masterpiece, meticulously tailored to the specific needs and preferences of individual hunters. With a wide array of customisations available, from the stock to the finest details, these rifles offer a level of personalisation that is truly unmatched. The K5 series redefines precision, performance, and individuality in the world of hunting rifles." Andy Norris, Head of Sporting Sales, Viking Arms.
The evening is also a fantastic opportunity to meet world renowned gunsmiths and understand the craftsmanship and precision engineering that goes into making the most coveted rifles ever produced. The event is all complimented with drinks and game canapés including venison tartare, slow cooked pheasant and potted smoked trout.
Event director James Gower commented: “We recognise what an important purchase a new gun is. It could be a once-in-a-lifetime purchase or you may be a collector, but either way it is vital to meet the people behind the brand. WorldGunmakers’ Evening is a very special event that connects master craftsmen from around the globe with British buyers who may not otherwise meet face-to-face. From a guest's perspective, there is no other event that offers the same opportunity for information gathering and networking.”
