One of Australia's leading privately owned small arms suppliers, NIOA TV, takes us on another deep dive into one of our favourite topics, new guns!

Ruger Firearms’s Product manager, Eric Lundgren, gives us a quick and easy-to-follow breakdown of Ruger’s new Marlin firearm line, with much of the emphasis on the brilliant Marlin Model 1895™ SBL.

Within this video, we can see the amazing and sleek design of the Marlin Model 1895™ SBL and the consistency of these astounding features within the Marlin product line. Eric starts us off with the first product of this line, the Marlin Model 1895™ SBL. The Marlin brand has been synonymous with lever-action rifles, in particular the classic American long gun. As a company that is rich in history and culture, the Marlin product line celebrates a rich heritage of American firearms. The Model 1895 is a frontier legend with its ability of quick pointing, fast-handling and has classic styling. A stainless steel 19 inch threaded barrel with a laminate stock, this gun will take you back to the Wild Wild West!

The second product within this line is the 1895 Trapper. Like the previous model, it has a big loop and laminated stock, even though this stock is a little darker for a nice contrast to the stainless steel finish. The major distinguishing feature for this model is the shorter 16 inch threaded barrel. Keeping in line with embracing the rich American history of firearms, this model was envisioned by hunting and fishing guides in Alaska that was optimised for hunting.

Joining Vikings’ amazing collection, the next models showcased by Eric and NOIA TV are the newest products within the product line, the 1894 and 336. With the walnut straight grip stock, the walnut forend and the traditional square loop, the 1894 is aptly nicknamed the classic for embracing the heritage of these firearms with a modern twist. The 336 also embraces this rich history with its walnut design and barrel band. To distinguish this from the rest of the Classics line, Rugers put a lot of effort into slimming down the forend so it tapers nicely into the barrel band. Moreover, despite its historic design, it comes with a quick reloading lever action. Like all the other Marlin guns, these too have a red and white bullseye.
