NIOATV bring us another entertaining video discussing Ruger’s Go Wild series.Jason, or Shrek as he likes being called, the marketing manager of Sports at NOIA TV takes us across Australia’s Queensland to showcase the formidable Ruger Rifle. Ruger is one of the world's most famous and renouwned arms manufacturers. Jason takes us through the features of this one of kind Ruger firearm:
Jason introduces the Ruger Rifle, one of Australia’s premier hunting rifles. The Go Wild comes with a free lug locking system, giving a 70 degree bolt handle throw. It is tapered with a 5/8"-24 thread, along with a standard centerfire muzzle brake. Given how popular muzzle brakes have become, Ruger decided to listen to the people and add one to the gun for free! One of the best features of this firearm is the Accuracy International Chassis System (AICS) magazine with three shots, which has become a standard detachable magazine pattern for military format sniper rifles. This allows for the shooter to have greater control over their target. The Ruger marksman’s trigger is also fitted, adjustable and lightweight from 3-5 lbs.
Given that the Go Wild has larger calibre on such a lightweight firearm, it was important for the firearm to have a soft recoil pad. The gun comes with standard swivel studs which are attached to the stock, with the one in the video having the amazing spartan system on it. The stock also comes with Ruger’s own integral bedding system, a v block style bedding system, known internationally for its accuracy in a competition setting. This makes it perfect for any occasion, whether you’re trying to secure a position in a competition or just out for a casual hunt!
The rifle weighs around 6-7 lbs with a barrel length of 22-24 inches. The Go Wild comes with a loophole scope of VX3 HD, with one minute of accuracy, which is quite standard for this firearm. This model comes in a variety of different calibres:
