Experts in accuracy, Savage and Modular Driven Technologies (MDT) teamed up to create [Savage’s ‘Precision Series](https://www.vikingshoot.com/products/rifles/savage/)’ in 2019. The result? Ultra sleek, match-ready rifles with features as unique as the shooters who use them. We at Viking are in the business of distributing best-in-class sporting rifles, and these models including the Precision range from Savage are a mainstay in [the Viking armoury](https://www.vikingshoot.com/the-armoury/). They’ve quickly become popular options for shooters of all disciplines thanks to some key customisable features detailed below. *Read on for all the info you need to get in on the Precision Series scene and make the most of this impeccable range.* #### Savage 110 Precision ![savage-110-precision-w-bg-1](https://latest.vikingshoot.com/hs-fs/hubfs/savage-110-precision-w-bg-1.jpg?width=1200&height=300&name=savage-110-precision-w-bg-1.jpg)Have you held a [Savage 110 Precision](https://www.vikingshoot.com/products/rifles/savage/savage-110-precision/)? This aluminium framed rifle suits just about everyone, offering peak adjustability from customisable comb height and length of pull to custom MDT stocks appropriate for right and left-handed shooters. Looking at it, you’d never guess the Savage 110 has been around (in one form or another) since 1958. Savage’s much loved **110 Bolt Action** is the longest continuously manufactured bolt-action in American history, according to [Savage and MDT](https://savagearms.com/blog?p=overview-of-mdt-chassis-on-savage-precision-series-rifles&fbclid=IwAR3PON3hWBd4768yo8f1f8FsOT10RLnETm4mOwKnJ7Ci5iSQAevd_94aN98). For more than 60 years it has maintained a reputation for proven accuracy. Now it lends itself to dozens of variations of Savage rifles, the 110 Precision being a dynamic long range version of the OG. Also key to its present-day success is the 110 Precision’s **AccuTrigger** capability. The user-adjustable (did we mention this rifle is highly customisable?) AccuTrigger is designed with an innovative steel blade in the trigger shoe, protecting against discharge if the rifle is dropped or knocked accidentally. The trigger itself is crisp and light to offer enhanced accuracy along with that enhanced safety. Why opt for anything less? *More unmissable 110 Precision specs:* - **Geometrically Perfect Carbon Steel Barrels** - **‘Factory Blueprinted’ Action** (Blueprinting is how Savage achieves perfect alignment: squaring the receiver locking lug recesses, receiver face, bolt face, recoil lug and barrel lock nut for the tightest tolerances between the action and the bore.) - **Recoil/Recovery Innovations**: A heavy contour/fluted barrel helps to steady the rifle to reduce recoil, while a **BA Muzzle Brake** redirects expelled gas from the muzzle to reduce upward and lateral rifle movement. - **Available in 6.5 Creedmoor** You can check out the Savage 110 Precision with an exclusive skeletonised stock [here](https://www.vikingshoot.com/products/rifles/savage/savage-110-precision/). --- #### Savage 110 Elite Precision ![savage-elite-precision-w-bg-1](https://latest.vikingshoot.com/hs-fs/hubfs/savage-elite-precision-w-bg-1.jpg?width=1200&height=300&name=savage-elite-precision-w-bg-1.jpg)If the 110 Precision appeals to you, you’ll love the 110 Elite. We call it ‘the pinnacle of Savage’s 110 designs.’ From its full length ARCA rail to its titanium nitride coatings, this is a rifle truly built for a lifetime of Elite Precision. It’s got absolutely everything the Precision offers, plus additional features that make it a top choice for shooting pros. Every change was carefully chosen to align with the precise upgrades that demanding shooters often make to their own long range tack drivers. *Additional features include:* - **Titanium Nitride Bolt Body** and **416 Stainless Steel Barrel** for extreme durability. - **Flash Nitride (Stainless Steel) Target Receiver** for fail-safe weatherproofing. - **Modified Palma Contour Barrel** for a perfectly balanced weight and rigidity. - **MDT Vertical Grip** and **AICS magazine** with a fully adjustable stock. - **Available in 223 REM**, **308 WIN** and **6.5 Creedmoor** - **Available as a left handed version in 223 REM** Check out the full specs here: [Savage 110 Elite Precision](https://www.vikingshoot.com/products/rifles/savage/savage-110-elite-precision/) --- #### Savage Impulse Elite Precision ![savage-impulse-elite-w-bg-1](https://latest.vikingshoot.com/hs-fs/hubfs/savage-impulse-elite-w-bg-1.jpg?width=1200&height=300&name=savage-impulse-elite-w-bg-1.jpg)The [Impulse Elite Precision](https://www.vikingshoot.com/products/rifles/savage/savage-impulse-elite-precision/) from Savage is raising the bar for competitive shooters. It upholds the high quality standards of the Savage 110 Precision and 110 Elite Precision- but speeds things up with new capabilities for faster follow-up shots and even faster split times, thanks largely to its straight-pull bolt action bedded within an Adjustable Core Competition chassis from MDT. Like its siblings in the Precision Series this rifle has the AccuTrigger, a balanced contour barrel/muzzle, and more. Otherwise, its unique features are as follows: - **Straight-Pull Bolt Action** requiring only two quick motions to cycle the bolt. - **Multi-Positional Bolt Handle** adjustable at 4 different angles, plus right and left-handed optimisation options. - **Button-Rifled Stainless Steel Barrel** perfected by specialised machinery and experienced operators. - **Available in 308 WIN** and **6.5 Creedmoor** Want more Savage?
