Professional Stalkers Chris Dalton and Bruce Potts take us on a little adventure around Ayrshire to showcase the amazing Ruger 10/22 Competition 22 semi automatic rimfire.Showcased on The Shooting Show, our hunters take on a calm and serene adventure to see how well the Ruger 10/22 Competition 22 semi-automatic rimfire performs! 

Like the professional he is, Chris Dalton starts us off by going through the importance of health and safety measures taken to ensure a safe hunt. Starting in the early morning, Chris embarks on an excursion to check on some new high seats that the Syndicate guys have installed in a small block near a quarry. But it's not just about safety; they also take the opportunity to assess deer numbers and observe territorial behaviour, all while enjoying the beauty of the morning. We can see that the male deers are starting to become territorial, with massive bucks being seen throughout the surveillance of the grounds. Rather than start the hunt, Chris decided to let it go, respecting its maturity and allowing it to spread its genes. It's a reminder that hunting isn't just about taking down prey but also about conservation and responsible management. We also get to the beautifully cold morning, with birds and foxes enjoying nature. The particular species we get to see are the Roe deer and its male counterpart. 

The next morning, Bruce Potts showcases the amazing features of the Ruger 10/22 Competition 22 semi automatic rimfire! With its precision and reliability, it proves to be a formidable tool for the job. The aim of the hunt today is to find rabbits within the area. This presented the perfect opportunity to be able to see the versatility of the Ruger 10/22 as it is used in a variety of different ways. We are able to see the effective nature of the rifle, being able to shoot a rabbit from about 50 yards, that too in not the best wind conditions. The accessories attached to the rifle have also made the rifle perfect for this experience. Bruce attached the VX-3HD, delivering a clear shot.
